One of the first characters I drew… on a post-it.
And in the end, she stayed quite close to this concept.
A small funny detail: from mechanical eyes, it turned into stars in the final version for simplicity and because she was promoted to a magical entity.
She is a character who was supposed to have more appearances in the game, but who was ultimately set aside so as not to disturb the main scenario of each route, the role of disruptor already being taken by Kyoko.
In addition to intervening during bad ends, Mana has her dedicated menu which serves as a hub to two major functions: the status screen and the evolving character profiles.

As with the rest of the characters, Mana has many surprises in store besides accidentally being the trigger for the main story.

You will notice that she makes small comments on each character ~
Far from being a simple tool, I discreetly wanted to give her some speaking time to compensate for her absence in the rest of the game. Even though I am well aware that this adds a click / a tap before reaching the desired function… sorry!
Breaking the 4th wall, she serves as an intermediary between you and the game Another Story, just as she serves as an intermediary between Kyoko and the game Doki Doki 5.
While waiting to meet her again in one of the game’s many endings, I hope you will appreciate her efforts to stay relevant in the universe! She needs it, poor thing.
